Max began karting earlier than most at the age of four, and regularly visited his local Orihuela Costa circuit until he was finally able to compete
three years later.
By 2016, Max was a multiple karting champion across Spain, with back to back Regional Valenciano titles and third overall in the national Spanish karting series.
Despite a Diabetes Type-1 diagnosis in 2016, Max fought to be back on track at the end of season Hivern Cup in Valencia. He was rewarded with overall victory at this even setting a precedent for his determined attitude moving forward in his racing career.
Away from the track, Max remains committed to a healthy and balanced lifestyle. The physical demands of motorsport are exacerbated by his diabetes and so, to ensure that he is equipped to compete, Max has a rigorous training regime that has developed him into a high-calibre athlete.
His training regime includes a raft of cardiovascular, and strength-based exercises, whilst his passion for cycling provides a multi-sports variety.
Max works with his trainers at both CETDM and Kokoro Performance to strengthen his physical and mental conditioning and continues to develop his driving skills with regular simulator training sessions.
