2023 season competing in Ginetta GT Pro with SVG Motorsport
On her eleventh birthday Liona had her first driving experience in a Mini One at Brands Hatch with MSV Young Drive.
At the age of 13 she joined the Under 17 Car Club, and in the past three seasons has driven over 50 vehicles from a hatchbacks to supercars, and even a HGV!
In parallel, she has taken advantage of the great opportunities that local motorsport clubs can offer to juniors. As a member of Farnborough District Motor Club, Liona competed in a number of autosolos in my Mini Cooper. She also took part of in an autosolo demonstration at the British Motor Show which was a great experience for her.
More recently in, November 2021 Liona took part in the Ginetta Junior Winter Series which helped gain experience for the 2022 championship. In 2022, Liona went on to compete in the Ginetta Junior Championship which supported the BTCC with Assetto Motorsport.
In October 2022 she competed in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge for the last round of British GT with Elite Motorsport gaining experience on slicks to build her for the future. For the upcoming 2023 season Liona will be competing in Ginetta GT Pro with SVG Motorsport and racing for Kimura Racing for the Sim Season.
