After a tricky round at Silverstone which saw Team Olympian remain in second place, a big result was needed by Riley in order to push the Team back to top spot. On a scorching weekend in Donington with record high temperatures anything could happen!
Riley smashed it out the park on the weekend and achieved a new lap record for Donington Park in the Fun Cup. A superb achievement which gives Team Olympian a huge boost in their pursuit of the title.
Riley on his victory: ‘Wow that was a hot one! What a race, managed to pull back a substantial lead setting a new lap record in the process and mug UVio with a couple laps to go, wow that was finish… AGAIN. Thanks to the team for keeping the lead in sight and for the super fast pit stops, especially that last one!’
