Kimura Racing provided its two Trak Racer simulators at the Royal Automobile Club’s Pall Mall headquarters for the second round of qualifying in the inaugural Royal Automobile Club SIM Racing Challenge.
Club members were put through their paces setting qualifying times using the Assetto Corsa game with and Aston Martin GT3 car at Donington Park GP track. As many as twenty members set some quick times with the top ten going through to the final round which will be held at the Club during London Motor Week in November.
Kimura Racing also showcased the new Isle of Man TT Ride On The Edge 3 game which wowed the Club members with its super graphics and realism. The Kimura Performance Studios recently integrated a campaign with the Isle of Man TT game through one of its original shows ‘Pushing the Limit’ with Danny Buchan and Tarran Mackenzie. Further highlighting the strength in cross-selling throughout the Kimura Racing platform.
Also on hand during the evening was eight time Le Mans 24 Hours winner Tom Kristensen who tried his hand at the wheel of the SIM who completed a few laps in an Audi R8 GT3 but bowed out as he stated, “I better stop otherwise I’ll be here all night”.
