Kimura Racing Sim Team will be competing in the Sebring 12 Hour iRacing Special Event this weekend.
The Sebring 12HR is a 12-hour endurance race held at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Florida. It is the second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. As with the iRacing VCO Daytona 24, the iRacing VCO Sebring 12 will feature a lineup of GTP, LMP2, and GT3 cars competing once around the clock in a team event.
This will be the second race of the year after the team’s first race in Bathurst 12 hours. Once again Kimura will be entering 2 teams into this race:
- Pro Team (Matthew Caruana and Ryan Micallef will look to continue their solid start to the campaign)
- Academy Team (Eliza Seville, Formula Woman Champion 2022, will be making her first appearance in the Kimura Racing team as our first female driver and will be competing alongside the talented Riley Philips)
With all drivers becoming more accustomed to each other, the team is growing stronger each week with regular training and development of each driver.
The race will be available to watch via the Kimura Racing twitch channel (https://www.twitch.tv/kimuraracing) where our Head of Sim Racing, Ethan Pattison will be providing a watch along to give analysis of the race as it unfolds!
