Kimura Racing are delighted to announce the signing of Riley Phillips as a sim racing driver as part of the Kimura Racing Sim Racing Academy.
Riley, aged 20, is an extremely quick sim racing driver and has a background in coaching racing drivers on the sim, which will add an extra dimension to the team.
Riley has been racing since he was 7 years old within karting, making the move to cars just aged 16 and uses his sim racing to develop as a driver. He is looking to race in the British GT Championship this year, clocking some rather impressive testing times in Audi R8 GT4 Car.
Sim Racing Team Director, Rich Wharton, says “We are really pleased to announce the signing of Riley, he is very quick on the simulator and is impressively ambitious! I know he will keep the pressure on our pro team and will constantly be knocking on the door to step up to the pro team”
Riley shared his thoughts on joining Kimura Racing “I’m excited to be joining Kimura Racing Academy for 2023. I am very happy to be a part of such a dedicated group of people and am looking forward to contributing to the team’s success. We all have big plans for the future so I am looking forward to working with the whole Kimura team. Thank you for this opportunity, I can’t wait to get started”
