Kimura Racing driver Max Mayer moves up into the highly competitive Michelin Le Mans Cup Series starting at Circuit De Catalunya, Barcelona 12th – 13th April.
Switching to the established MV2S Racing team and driving a Ligier JS P320 LMP3 Sports prototype car to compete in a full season of the six round championship that includes a support race at the Le Mans 24 Hours called the Road to Le Mans which takes place on the morning of the world’s greatest endurance race in front of 250,000 spectators.
Max Mayer said “im very excited to be moving to MV2S Racing and to have an opportunity to race in LMP3 in this competitive and strong championship with the highlight being to race at the full Le Mans circuit to support the 24 Hours race in June with approaching a 60 car grid it should be fun”
Registered entries for the full season of six rounds there are 42 cars made up of 30 LMP3 prototypes and 12 GT3 cars.

“The Michelin Le Mans Cup is an important step on the endurance racing ladder, which many of the new crop of young talented drivers now racing in the FIA WEC and European Le Mans Series have established themselves in. It’s going to be an incredible festival of endurance racing at each and every round in 2024; we hope you will be able to join us.”
