Excitement is building as talented young driver Ryan Micallef gears up for Round 3 of the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship, set to take place at Oulton Park on June 10th. Despite not having the opportunity to test his car extensively, Micallef remains undeterred and is determined to regain his winning form after encountering engine issues at Croft.
Following an impressive victory in Round 1 at Snetterton, Micallef’s progress was hindered by frustrating engine troubles in the subsequent race. Despite the setback, Micallef’s unwavering spirit and dedication to the sport have motivated him to bounce back stronger than ever. With limited time for practice, Micallef will have just one session to familiarize himself with the challenging Oulton Park circuit before diving into the highly competitive race. However, the young driver remains confident in his abilities and is prepared to showcase his skills on race day. The Kimura Racing driver will be hoping his time practicing in the sim will give him an extra boost.
“I’m excited to be back on track at Oulton Park,” Micallef said “While it was frustrating to face engine issues at Croft, I’ve put that behind me and focused on getting back to form. The limited practice time poses an extra challenge, but I’m ready to adapt and give it my all.”
The BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship provides a highly competitive platform for budding racers to showcase their skills. Best of luck to Ryan this weekend!
