Ryan raced for Jam Sport Racing where he was the runner up for their 2023 scholarship which earnt him a fully funded race weekend in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship and competed in the first round, on the weekend of the 8th April at Snetterton.

Ryan on racing in his one-off weekend said “I am absolutely thrilled to be part of the Jamsport team for Round 1 of the Junior Fiesta championship. My journey with Jamsport began in June 2022 when I did my work experience at their workshop. Little did I know that this experience would lead to the opportunity to race alongside them. I am incredibly grateful for this chance and hope to make the most of it by delivering a strong performance in Round 1 of the championship. Thank you, Jamsport, for this amazing opportunity.”

Team Principal Jamie Going provided an insight into Ryan joining the team “Since first meeting Ryan in the workshop for work experience, I could quickly see his interest, ability and knowledge in motorsport. We were excited when we heard he had entered our 2023 scholarship as I knew he would have been very competitive. He came very close to winning, and that’s why I was happy to give him the opportunity of racing the first round with us. I have high hopes in what he can achieve at Snetterton.”

The race weekend at Snetterton 300 spanned over 2 days with Saturday being free practice and qualifying. Sunday was the race day with 2 races across the day.

During Race 1 he attained a DNF but did not let this deter him. In Race 2 Ryan raced superbly, came P1 and took him the trophy.

Ryan is a pro driver for the Kimura Sim Racing team and is demonstrating the Kimura Racing model of driving in the simulator to racing in real life.
